Born in Paris, France, Chef Franck Maucort began his career at two-star Michelin restaurant Jules Vernes of the Eiffel Tower. His work in France also includes A. Beauvilliers, Joel Robuchon at Le Relais du Parc and Ladurée. He eventually traveled to New York City where he started out working under the supervision of Anthony Bourdain at Les Halles. Chef Maucort later moved from the kitchen of Les Halles to front of the house at Daniel Boulud's Bistro Modern as well as other fine dining establishments throughout New York City. His participation in both the back and front of the house has provided him with an unsurpassed knowledge of the restaurant hospitality business.
The diverse culinary path of Chef Franck Maucort has come full circle and brought him back to his roots, as Executive Chef at La Belle Michelle.
